Looking after Number One – the Cat

It’s true. Everything they say about cats is true. Dogs have masters—cats have slaves. It’s all true.

Our indulgence with the feline can often leave us exhausted. Okay, we exaggerate but you understand where we are coming from if you have a cat.

When they are hungry they demand to be fed. When they are ready for attention, and only when they are ready for attention, they demand that too!

And when they want to go outside we get up and open the door for them. And when they want to come inside ….. we get up and open the door for them.

How many times have you opened the door to let your much loved moggy in or out of the house? Some people have even got to the stage of leaving the door open a smidge to increase the ease of egress and ingress.

This all sounds like a great idea until you hear the buzz of that pesky mozzie or see flies on your dinner or fruit!

There is a much simpler way to deal with this.

Have You Thought of Installing a Pet Door?

Durack Pet Motel and their staff are here to tell you that the best thing you could possibly do to ease your pain is to install a pet door.

It is the best investment you could conceivably make in your relationship with your cat or even your dog if you let it in the house.

There is a wide range of pet doors on the market ranging in size to suit a cat or even a large dog. You are sure to find one that will suit your style of door without breaking the budget.

If you are even slightly handy with a screwdriver some of these doors are so easy to install that it is like falling off a log.

A quick search on YouTube can get you started with easy to follow instructional videos on how to install it yourself.

If this is just a bit beyond your capabilities though, or if you wish to install a door into a window you may want to call in a professional to set it up for you at a modest price.

How does it get any easier than that? Your cat or dog gets to come and go as it pleases and you get to stay put in your seat!
